TO LIVE OR NOT TO LIVE!

August 5, 2015 2:41 pm Published by Leave your thoughts

That is the question? How a viral fever changed my thoughts When I returned from USA, I kind of felt different this time. Five locations, travelling in and out every second night, with baggages, into airports and out. This was kind of taking a toll, but I was with family and friends, so there was no pressure and I felt I can somewhat stretch myself. On my return again I quickly decided to go to Bangalore for a day, for a reason, which to many would defy logic, but I still did. On my return, I had this major presentation... View Article

Bhutan:My self development journey

June 16, 2015 4:22 am Published by Leave your thoughts

I have been planning to go to Bhutan for quite sometime, all by myself. This urge to go all by myself, has nothing to do with anyone, including my family. My family is everything to me. But over these past few years, I have developed this liking for solitude. I have really started enjoying being alone. I do not feel “lonely” when I am “alone”. On the contrary, I feel fully rejuvenated, happy, peaceful, and full of verve. So, when I started to go to Singapore from January’15,all by myself, every month, it was my beginning. But, in Singapore,I realised that there was... View Article

We have come a long way in Globsyn. Our first offering in 1996 was YSM. The Software Finishing School concept was brought into the business horizon by us. People that time did not really understand what we were trying to do. Being a Dad & Boss together

October 27, 2014 4:40 am Published by Leave your thoughts

Ever since my sons, joined my business, its been over 10 years now,I have been confronting this phenomena of being Boss and Dad, to my sons, Rahul and Romit. Its been one of the toughest roles to play in my life, though it has also been a very proud feeling. I have no idea how others have done, but I must confess that, the Dad part of me, took a beating several times. Running a professional Organisation, like an open book, which I have myself professed so candidly to my people, and doing that with my sons around and my... View Article

BUILDING EDIFICE TOWARDS IT/ITES FOR BANGLADESH

To the Land of my Forefathers on a World Bank project On November 22nd 2013, I boarded a flight to Dhaka to sign up for an assignment, that would take me to a new destination and a new role. This was yet another voyage into the unknown, unchartered territory, at this stage of my life, and I was not fully sure, what was pulling me into it. I had not applied for it. My Office did. Things followed and my exit as President-TiE, Kolkata, after completing a successful Kolkata TiECon2014, was perhaps lingering somewhere, as I had taken the decision... View Article

THE JOURNEY OF AN ENTREPRENEUR NEVER ENDS

Taking myself and the people around me to the next level Today, I have reached a stage in my life, wherein it is time to take stock of my past. It is time to look around me, look within me, and look by me, to see, where, what, how I can really enjoy my life from here on. Many a time in the past, I have tried telling myself, that I needed to do that but never got around to do that. When I went to the family farm house in San Francisco this time, among the rich and famous,... View Article
