Elections to 5 states in India is on.These are supposedly for local state Assembly constituencies.West Bengal,my home State, is one such state. Over the last few months and more so,now,there is pandemonium going around.The political sensitive ness of the State,gives rise to all kind of activities,disruptions,deliberations,which appear highly polarised and is disturbing.The poor COVID-19,has been pushed to the back ground,and the people for whom the vote is sought is under attack from all corners. My father was a Government officer under the Administrative service.His retirement age was 58 years.He was seemingly pretty young when he retired.He was already into his writings,and he got involved in it.These days,people retire mostly at 65 years.A clean 7 years more. Now,let us talk of people like me,who have invested last 30+ years into building,creating,developing,failing,re-building,growing,stabilising,……an enterprise,in a truthful,professional manner,and given it all you could.The enterprise over all these years,has grown manifold and diverse. As a student of Behaviourial Science,and its natural development with age and time,I have noticed different people respond to different situations differently.At times, they do realise thru their intelligence and wisdom,that their acts make no sense,but the society has kept them shackled for so many years,that to break thru that shackle is an upheaval task. As one gets older, life becomes more and more interesting. More the life is unsettled, more exciting it is for me. Any settled life is a sign of stagnation of mediocracy and boredom.
